Major Contributions
Research
1. I conducted a literature review on how individuals conceptualize objects and establish a shared conceptualization of an object through conversation.
2. I recruited participants, crafted study design and materials, and oversaw RAs to conduct an experiment to understand whether socioeconomic status and memory play a role in the formation of conceptual pacts.
3. I worked with RAs to code video and audio data to capture participants’ conceptualization of the object being referenced.
4. I did preliminary data analysis and synthesized the findings into a report, which can be read here.
